I already told you I am hosting a Meetup at Microsoft Ignite in my previous post, but that’s not all. I am also delivering 2 Theater session in the main Expo area during the week. I am really excited about the interest in my sessions so far looking at the number of people who have added them to their schedule. This year at Microsoft Ignite I will be hosting a Community Meetup together with Ami Arwidmark. This will be an interactive session where you will be a part of the discussion.
We will spend time on discussion modern management of Windows 10 focusing on different topics during our time together. On of the big topics would be on what you experience is blocking you from going modern. This is not a normal breakout session where we will spend time on slides telling you what to do. We do have some experiences and insight to share, but this is a place for you to come and discuss both your positive experiences and your pains with other people working in the same area as you. Since the arrival of Microsoft Intune Enrollment Restrictions, I have been waiting for a way to have more granular control of the restrictions. We have been forced to have the same setting for all users and with no exceptions at all. I have a lot of customers who wants to block the common user from enrolling personal iOS devices or even Windows 10 MDM as the company are not ready for it at the moment. Continue reading
As I was strolling around in my Intune tenant today I found that a new feature has arrived regarding Intune and Mobile Apps. It has been easy lately to add iOS app by just searching the appstore directly from Intune, but Android has been the same bad experience with me going to the Android play webpages and search for app URLs. Today that might just be gone for 90% of my use cases with Microsoft Intune Built-In App type. Continue reading
I just wanted to recap my experience from NIC 2018 by posting a short post about my experience as a first time speaker at NIC.
On day 1 it was great expectations as I had the first slot after the keynote talking about Intune Mobile Application Management. The room it self was OK and the tech worked perfectly. The only thing I want to point out is that the lighting was awful. As a Speaker I like to see my audience and be able to read them as I go along. This was absolutely not possible here and I really hope that NIC will consider changing this for next year. Continue reading
Microsoft has released a number of powershell sample script on github. After playing around with them for a bit I have found some cool and powerful use cases that I want to share. The first one is about creating and reusing compliance policies across multiple customer tenants.
Are you looking for a solution on how to use custom branding for you Intune Company portal for a standalone setup? Don’t like the default color choices in the Intune portal? Maybe you have looked into the hybrid option which gives you an possibility to choose your custom color? Look no further..
After 3 days at Experts Live in Berlin, my speaker duties are finished. This conference was pretty new to me and I would like to share my experiences. I have delivered 4 contributions to this great conference, 2 sessions where I have been talking about Microsoft Intune, Azure AD, Conditional Access and Windows 10 Modern IT and 2 discussion panel session talking about much of the same stuff 🙂
