Occasionally a wireless device wont respond to the commands from the operation system, which puts the device in a bad state. Normally you would need to manually reset your network device or in some cases reboot your device to get back to a connected state.
Windows 10 will detect when this happens and is able to recover the device without rebooting the system and without user interaction.
Windows stores a kernel dump and the eventviewer shows the hang and reset recovery.
